The Community Mental Wellness Resources listed below have been compiled by the Chestermere and Area Mental Health Coalition. The Chestermere and Area Mental Health Coalition (MHC) is a multi-sectoral group of professionals and community members who have come together with the goal of supporting and encouraging positive mental health for the community as a whole. The MHC was established in April 2019 and is coordinated in partnership with Synergy and the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network. The Coalition was created in response to the need for increased awareness and support for mental health supports. Synergy and the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network host monthly meetings to collaborate around mental health issues facing the community, discuss local programs and services, host presentations from area service providers and network.
