Community Mental Health Fair

​Annual Chestermere Community Mental Health Fair
Saturday, May 2, 2026
11:00am-3:00pm
Chestermere Recreation Centre - Main Hall
​The 2026 Community Mental Health Fair aims to promote awareness, de-stigmatize mental health concerns, provide valuable resources and information, promote a culture where seeking support is encouraged, and foster a sense of community.
​
This FREE event is open to all community members interested in learning how to support their own mental health, support others, and find local resources. Parents, caregivers, coaches, mentors, and youth will benefit from attending this event.
Trade Fair Booths will be set up by local organizations that offer programs, services and resources on mental health and wellness. Service providers and professionals will be available to answer questions and provide resources from 11:00am until 3:00pm.

Local youth will be paired with professionals to deliver presentations throughout the day on current issues impacting our community. Join us for one presentation, or stay for them all. Stay tuned for the presentation schedule!

The first 100 attendees through the door will receive a FREE Community Mental Health Fair Tote bag!
​
All attendees will have the chance to enter their name in a draw for the chance to win a door prize.
​
Refreshments & snacks will be provided throughout the event, free of charge.

2026 TRADE FAIR PARTICIPANTS​
The Chestermere and Area Mental Health Coalition (MHC) is a multi-sectoral group of professionals and community members who have come together with the goal of supporting and encouraging positive mental health for the community as a whole. The MHC was established in April 2019, and is coordinated in partnership with Synergy and The Calgary Rural Primary Care Network. The coalition was created in response to the need for increased awareness and support for mental health resources. Synergy and the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network host monthly meetings to collaborate around mental health concerns facing the community, discuss local programs and services, and host presentations from areas service providers and networks.
