SHOUT GIRLS
Girls Circle offers a structured support circle designed to nurture self-awareness, positive relationships, resiliency, critical thinking and authentic voices. With the encouragement of caring adults and teen/peer mentors, the girls explore themes and topics which are relevant to their lives, such as growing up female, self-awareness & self-compassion, healthy relationships, resiliency, body image, trust & boundaries, the power of positivity, goals & intentions, and more.
Together, the girls take turns to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences, as well as to listen to others in an uplifting, respectful, emotionally safe and very special gathering space. The girls have the opportunity to express themselves further through creative or focused activities such as physical literacy, journaling, poetry, drawing, collages, etc.
SHOUT: Girls Circles are held weekly for 2 hours with a duration of 8 - 10 weeks at the Centre for Community Leadership. Youth must RSVP to register due to a class limit!

SHOUT BOYS
SHOUT Boys is a structured program that centers on the development of vital social skills, teamwork, and other key attributes essential for youth as they progress towards maturity. With the guidance of caring adults and teenage mentors, boys gain valuable experiences and insights on how to excel in school, contribute to their community, and foster positive relationships.

At SHOUT Boys, we provide a welcoming environment where boys can freely express themselves without fear of judgment and learn from their peers and mentors. Our primary focus lies in nurturing self-confidence, fostering strong self-esteem, and instilling a deep sense of respect for others. We also equip them with problem-solving skills necessary to overcome challenges and adversity.

The SHOUT Boys sessions run for 8 to 10 weeks, with weekly sessions lasting 1.5 hours each. These sessions take place at the Centre for Community Leadership.
