FOOT BY FOOT
Fundraiser for the Centre for Community Leadership, which is now located in a park like setting on the corner of Chestermere Boulevard and Rainbow Road, adjacent to the skateboard park.
The Centre for Community Leadership is a community hub where not-for-profit and charity organizations can meet, collaborate, and better serve our residents. Community members are encouraged to stop by during our drop in hours to talk to staff, visit, and tour the building. Please check our events calendar for up to date program and drop in times.
Thanks to a number of incredibly generous Landscaping Companies the area surrounding the Centre has been developed and landscaped into a beautiful park like setting. The Centre is the first landmark that commuters see as they enter Chestermere while heading East on Highway 1A from Calgary.
Synergy encourages and facilitates collaboration amongst all local grass roots organizations and aspires to create a model that other groups can follow to establish more space throughout the community going forward.
The benefits of this project are far greater than simply creating space, however. SYNERGY’s philosophy is deeply rooted in the premise that we can achieve much more by working in partnership than we can on our own. We developed this Centre to establish affordable space that we can share with a number of Not-for-Profits who will, in exchange, contribute to the operating costs associated with this community facility. SYNERGY will both operate within and manage the facility for at least five years, beginning in 2017.
The Facility is 2280 square feet

Operating the ReidBuilt Centre for Community Leadership will require the support of our neighbours.
We need your help to purchase the contents that will make the Centre for Community Leadership operational and feel like a ‘community home’ as well as to supplement the programs that will be offered here. Every donation of $100 or more will be acknowledged on the Recognition Wall within the Centre.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to make a donation.
Thank you to all of our generous donors!
